11th Annual Walk and Roll-a-Thon

Do you want to do more to feed the hungry; clothe the naked; and house the homeless? Well, you can!

Your participation in the 11th annual "Walk and Roll a Thon for Justice" will benefit three outstanding local organizations:

> Faith House, a transtitional housing program

> The Lorain County Furniture Bank

> The St. Joseph Emergency Center

Every day, these organizations find it harder and harder to obtain the funding needed to operate their programs; yet, they continue to house, feed and cloth the most needy in our midst.

The 2009 "Walk and Roll a Thon for Justice" will be held on Saturday, September 26th, at the Bur Oak Park Bridgeway Trail, located in the Lorain Metro Parks (Elyria).

Registrations for this event will be taken at 8:30 am. The walk will begin at 9:00 am.

Have fun with a wholesome activity, food, beverages and prizes; while helping those in need.

This walk is sponsored by the Catholic Action Commission of Lorain County, part of the Cleveland Catholic Charities organization. Contact their office to order "walker packets" for this event:
