26 A Shower to Honor Mary (Help Benefit Birthright) Start: 04/26/2009 12:00 pm A Shower to Honor Mary, which will benefit Birthright of Elyria, is scheduled for April 26th at St. Teresa of Avila Parish Life Center. More information will be coming in future bulletins. Volunteers are needed to help with cooking/baking, set up and clean up, and picking up items from parishioners who are unable to attend. If able to help or have questions, call the Rectory at (440) 934-4227. April Reflections

The month of April is dedicated to The Holy Spirit. The first week of the month falls during the liturgical season of Lent which is represented by the liturgical color purple — a symbol of penance, mortification and the sorrow of a contrite heart. The remainder of the month is the beginning of the Easter season . The liturgical color is white — the color of light, a symbol of joy, purity and innocence (absolute or restored).
