I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in making our St. Teresa Feast Day celebration such a great success. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the beautiful liturgies: Music Ministers, Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Church Decorators. I also want to thank Carol and Marty Yonkof, as well as all the volunteers that helped make our Feast Day Fish Fry such a wonderful event. This weekend was truly a great celebration of our Parish Family.
As a Pastor, one of the best parts of celebrations like the Feast Day, are all the new faces and people I encounter who visit our Parish and experience what our community is all about. Purchasing a ticket to our Fish Fry gave many people a reason to come and worship at our 4:30 PM Mass. After Mass, and at the Fish Fry, so many came up to me and complimented our Church and parishioners. Even better, many made mention that they intended to return to worship at one of our Masses. This is a great reminder to all of us that every event that we offer is an opportunity to add to our positive reputation as a Parish, while encouraging people to be a part of our community.
Thank you to all who donated non-perishable food items for the Mother Cabrini Food Pantry at the Feast Day Dinner. Six boxes of food were delivered to them and they were very appreciative!
If you are unable to attend the dinner, you can still donate at church in the bin in the vestibule.
